Step 1: Pick the right one!

There a lot of options while choosing  a mascara that is suitable for you. So, the first step is to understand what you’re looking for in a mascara. I mean, you want a mascara for long lashes? Then go for an intense darker shade.That way, consider these factors,

• Color: Mascaras come in different shades. Of course, the popular option is black since it open up your eyes and make them look brighter. However, you’ve other shades as well for different purposes or different skin types.
• Purpose: What do you want a mascara for? Answer this question to yourself. To lengthen the lashes? Volumize? or for any other different reason?
• Quality: You need to make sure that you’re getting hands on a smudge-proof, clump-free, or waterproof mascara. Since such mascara gives the desired effect in just one swipe.    

Step 2: Prep your Eyes

Before, you start applying a mascara, prep your eyes. Firstly, ensure to clean your eyes to remove any excess oil, dirt, or traces of old makeup which can ruin your look. Follow up with a moisturizer to keep eye area moist and supple.

Then apply an eye shadow primer as a base for your makeup. 

Step 3: Glam up your Eyes

The next step is add additional beauty to your eyes to make them look for attractive. So, proceed by applying an eyes shadow of your choice. If you want you’re lashed to be focused then go for lighter or neutral eye shadow color palette.

Curling the lashes is my favorite part because it opens up the eyes instantly. Place the curler at the base of your upper lash, close the curler, and hold it in the same position for a few seconds.

Step 5: The Final Step to a Perfect Look

Take the mascara, swirl the wand around the tube to coat the bristles. Don’t pump the wand into the tube repeatedly. 

Time to coat your lashes with the wand. Starting at the roots, apply the mascara in a wriggling motion. There should be more volume at the roots so that your lashes don’t feel weighed down.

Do the same with the lower lashes. You can switch to a smaller bristles wand since lower lashes are quite smaller. 

If your lashes are sticking together or if you observe clumps of mascara on lashes then use a eyelash shape comb or a clean wand to comb them out. 

Repeat the same steps to apply a second coat as well if you want to add volume to your lashes. Voila!
