Vedix is India’s first customizable Ayurvedic Haircare products. Apparently, it follows Tridosha theory which says our bodies are regulated by 3 doshas – Vata (Air), Pitta (Fire), and Kapha (Water). You’ll get to know more about the Doshas concept when you fill out their Know your hair questionnaire.

In the questionnaire, they will get to know your hair type and concern to determine which of your doshas are elevated before recommending products specific to your hair needs. It then delivers your products based on your specific hair problem and the subscription plan you choose (1 month, 3 months, or 6 months).

What do you get in Vedix Box?

My Unique Hair Dosha profile stated that I have elevated Kapha and Pitta. So, I was recommended Vedix Ayurveda Hair Oil, Shampoo, and Serum.

 

1. Vedix Ayurvedic Hair Oil

The hair oil contains Amalaki, Nimba, Bakuchi, Tagara, Kamala, Karpoora, Aloe vera extract, Brahmi, Grapeseed oil, Lavender essential oil, and other best ayurvedic ingredients. You can smell a strong herbal fragrance when you apply the oil. Moreover, it’s light on your head.

You have to use the oil on every alternate day for the first 3 months. I applied this oil four times a week before bedtime and wash off in the morning. This oil made my hair feel soft and my hair had a good texture.

 

2. Vedix Ayurvedic Hair Shampoo

The Shampoo contains Aloe vera extract, Quinoa, Bhringraj, Glycyrrhiza glabara extract, and Aqua. This shampoo contains little fragrance which smells fresh and again herbal. I liked the fact that this shampoo is paraben or sulfate-free. However, since it’s a natural product, you’ve to use more quantity to thoroughly wash your hair. This happens with every natural hair shampoo on the market. After the wash, my hair was still frizzy but t was in a good texture.

 

3. Ayurvedic Hair Serum

The hair serum consists of several Ayurvedic ingredients such as Yastimadhu, Beejaka, Aloe vera extract, Gunja, Hibiscus rosa, Krishna tilla, Bhringraj, Cedar essential oil, Vetiver essential oil and etc. Right after shampooing your hair, you must apply 3 to 5 ml of serum all over the scalp on towel dry hair. Leave overnight for the best results and wash off. The herbs used to formulate this serum will nourish the hair follicles and repair the damage done to your hair. It’s a water-based serum with a beautiful floral fragrance.

 

Pricing

They’ve got three different plans to choose from 1 month, 3 months, and 6-month plans. The 1 month is 1699 INR, the 3-month plan is 1499 INR, and the 6-month plan is 999 INR.

I would suggest, first try the 1-month plan and if the products are good on your hair then go with a 6-month plan because it’s much cheaper than the other plans.

 

Pros

• Reduces hair fall and any damage is done to your hair
• Great value for money

Cons

• The consists of a little bit of fragrance
• All the products changed my overall hair texture but my frizzy hair is still the same. These products will definitely soften your hair but I guess it has nothing to do with the frizz.
