Veeramachaneni Ramakrishna Diet Plan has been engrossing the two Telugu states in South India since the year 2017. There are some lakhs of positive reviews claiming that his diet plan made them lose weight and cure the common ailments such as diabetes, thyroid, spondylitis and many.

 

What’s so special about his diet plan? Why can’t other diet plans compete with his?

 

But first, let’s get to know about this passionate person Mr Veeramachaneni Ramakrishna.

Veeramachaneni Ramakrishna and his intimate friend together started this diet plan in May 2017. His intent was to fabricate a Lifestyle Modification without using medicines.

He followed the diet plan in order to reduce weight and his friend followed to have a permanent cure from diabetes. In the beginning, he himself didn’t believe that how could the protein and fat ideally will help him to shed weight? But to his luck, Veeramachaneni was reduced to 30 Kgs in a span of 2 months and it took the same time for his friend to get recovered from diabetes. Good to hear!

Apparently, Veeramachaneni Ramakrishna diet plan is a typical desi kind of Keto diet. He claims that his diet plan would make you shed weight and reverse the Type 2 diabetes. So, he devised this diet plan by making some desi changes to keto diet plan and then he tried first on himself and his intimate friend.

 

Veeramachaneni Ramakrishna Rao’s only objective was to spread goodness to the whole society. 

 

With that confidence, he’s laid down this diet plan that includes no medicines. However, some people were against Veeramachaneni Ramakrishna diet plan. They kept saying, you’re having your heads in the clouds. What’s Veeramachaneni Ramakrishna Diet plan all about?

Veeramachaneni strongly believes that the reasons behind your body gaining fat, a protruding belly and all other health ailments are just because of using refined oils and foods like refined Oil, White rice, White flour, White sugar, and Whitebread. So basically, the whites are not always for peace. Besides, pigging out all the food is also considered as the biggest culprit for your body.

He instead suggests going back in the day and munch on the foods what our grandparents used to eat. He says that ” I won’t take medicines for any health problem and instead rely upon my Grandmother’s tips. If I’m affected with diarrhoea, I’ll eat Yoghurt with Fenugreek seeds. And who are you to say don’t follow the natural ancient remedies?”

  1. 70-100 grams of fat
  2. 3 Lemons
  3. 4 Litres of Water

Veeramachaneni Ramakrishna was well-known as “Aahara Mantriku” which means a Diet Magician. He says all the traditional fats have been demonized and mistrusted that they can cause bad cholesterol by increasing LDL levels, decreasing HDL levels and increasing the triglycerides. So, according to Veeramachaneni Ramakrishna switching to healthy fats like Coconut oil, Olive oil, Ghee and etc is a good option since the refined oils are unhealthy and a rip-off.

 

He preaches to eat any dishes or savouries with overloaded ghee, coconut oil, butter, olive oil or cheese. His early morning diet includes Boiled Eggs, Fried Eggs, Omelette, Walnuts, Chicken with overloaded Ghee or Coconut oil.  

 

He doesn’t suggest to have Carbs or excess proteins as they digest quickly in the stomach and makes you feel hungry very soon. Whereas fat will keep you fuller for a long time. Therefore, you can have the next meal when you feel hungry i.e after some couple of hours. Again in the evening, he eats Chicken, Veg Curries, Soups, Coconut oil, Buttermilk which are high in fat content.

Most importantly, you need to follow this diet plan strictly for a very short period which is about 15-20 days or 2-3 months. For diabetes persons, they should follow for 3 months. Later, you can eat all kinds of food but you just need to limit the food content. This is one of the advantages of this plan which is a short period diet plan. Whatsoever, Veermacheneni Ramakrishna stated that his diet plan will set your lifestyle.

When you’re on the diet, you’re not allowed to take carbs, sugar, alcohol, cigarettes on daily basis. You should follow the set of rules/guidelines strictly. Furthermore, you should also not follow irregular sleep timings, cheat meals and junk food. Follow this diet plan strictly for 3 months then do a semi-diet from the following month. If you eat a heavy meal after 3 months, the very next day eat less food. This is what Veeramachaneni preaches to do in his diet plan.

 

Your sugar levels will not go down completely if you pigout sweets and then again follow this diet plan unless you’re taking a tablet. 

 

He adds the most important point in his conversation, “This diet plan cleanses your system. The kidney problems will get vanquished because the sole reasons for kidney problems are diabetes and blood pressure.” As this diet plan reverses diabetes and blood pressure, thereupon your kidney will also get cleaned.

Veeramachaneni Ramakrishna’s Guidelines/ Rules about his diet plan

 

  • Women must take 250g of non-vegetarian food per day and men must take 300g
  • You should not eat for every two hours. Have food only when you feel hungry
  • Especially, don’t follow the regular food timings
  • There are two types of diet plans: A Liquid and Solid plan for obesity and diabetes
  • After meals, if you feel hungry drink the liquids which are preached in the liquid diet plan
  • If you want to switch from liquid diet to solid diet, you must eat 10 badam nuts before eating anything in a solid diet
  • When you feel lethargic, have 10gm of fat like paneer. You can also include 100g of paneer in your everyday diet.
  • Don’t take more than 10 nuts each day

  1. Liquid Diet plan
  2. Solid Diet plan

1. Liquid Diet plan

This diet plan of including liquids is for the people with obesity. You must consume all the below-mentioned items each day. The food items incorporated in this diet plan are:

  • Soups – Veg, Cabbage, Mutton, Lamb, Pumpkin and etc
  • Water – 4 litres
  • Buttermilk
  • Lemon Water
  • Fat contents – Coconut oil, Butter, Olive Oil and Ghee (70-100gms)
  • Bulletproof Coffee
  • Lemon Soda – don’t add sugar and salt
  • 1 Vitamin E tablet at dinner time

2. Solid Diet plan

Day 1:

You must start your day with a glass of Lukewarm Lime Water. For breakfast, you can munch on a fried omelette which is fried in coconut oil or ghee. You can have 6 Eggs per day for the breakfast. Later, in the mid-morning, drink any Vegetarian Soup with the recommended fat. For Lunch, have a delicious Cucumber Salad and your favourite vegetarian curry which is cooked with coconut oil or recommended fat. Again, in the evening have your favourite soup or simply go with a glass of Buttermilk. Finally, have soup made with recommended fat which completes the limit of 70gm per day. Also, take a Vitamin tablet after the meal.

 

 

Day 2:

Start your day with a glass of Lukewarm Lime Water. For breakfast, eat Scrambled eggs with 10 Badam nuts. Later, in the mid-morning, have a clear Pumpkin Soup made with recommended fat. For Lunch, have a delectable Capsicum Salad with Olive oil and Palak Paneer which is cooked in coconut oil or butter. Have a glass of Buttermilk in the evening. Q1. Few people protest that there were no Science experiments done to prove that this diet plan is good?

 

VRK say in response that, though he’s not from a medical background he believes that science is not everyone’s subject. Like how a software engineer cannot discover rockets, doctor’s ideally can’t solve all the problems. If such is the case, why there are still many patients suffering from diabetes, blood pressure and many more. He claims that “I only insist people to not use medicines and instead follow the old traditional remedies for curing the health issues. Furthermore, it’s been a year but there were no complaints about my diet plan”. So, I think he’s very bold, confident and pertinent to his views though some people are telling him to get real.

 

 

Q2. Will they be any eating disorders since this diet plan has no particular timings?

Despite a few professionals say to VRK, “you’re pushing your luck”. He says “I’m not against doctors, many doctors support me and P.V Satyanarayana a  well-known cardio specialist who has done 16,000 surgeries is following the similar diet plan from 2 years. Particularly, this diet plan was the idea of another popular neurologist, Mr Jason”. In that conversation, he also mentions that they’re so many positive reviews about the diet plan in his book.

 

 

Q3. Do consumption of excess oils give gastritis problem and blood vomitings?

Veeramachaneni Ramakrishna counters this question and says, most of the people are using refined chemical oils from ages which create a wreak havoc on health in the long run. So, when compared to such chemically processed refined oils, using 70-100g of natural oils is not a problem. Except for the people who have ulcers in the stomach, the gas problems will vanquish if you follow this diet plan says, Mr Veeramachaneni Ramakrishna.

 

 

Q4. What if you continued this diet plan for more than 3 months or a year? 

It’s nothing a problem unless you’re taking medicines or eating carbs and junk foods in excess. In that case, you’ll be diagnosed with some diseases but with natural remedies, you’ll never fall sick says Veeramachaneni Ramakrishna. He also states that he had much evidence to show in case if you’re dubious or sceptical about his diet plan.

 

 

Q5. What if the heart patients follow this fat diet? Will the cholesterol levels increase?

Veeramachaneni Ramakrishna proudly says this diet plan is a boon to heart patients.

But he been so feisty about his diet plan, say that science never told not to eat fatty foods. It’s the manufacturers of the medicines who instil not to eat fat and take refined oils. In that process, they create a wreck havoc to the society.

He also quotes an example of a person named Srinivas who has 110 (or something) cholesterol levels. He initially feared when he got to know about this diet plan. Under such circumstances, VRK told him to quit medicines and follow his diet plan. This man Srinivas, after a couple of days, has noticed a considerable change in his cholesterol levels. His blood pressure, IBS, diabetes all got decreased but the triglycerides did not decrease. VRK told him, you’ve gone wrong somewhere. Srinivas said, yes I took a cholesterol tablet.

Later, with a complete trust given by a leading cardiologist to Mr Srinivas, he again followed the diet without using tablets. To his surprise, his cholesterol levels got decreased to 200. So, with this VRK concludes that these days doctors are also preaching eating fat with cholesterol is not a problem.

 

 

Q6. Is this diet plan a permanent solution to cure health problems without using tablets?

Veeramachaneni Ramakrishna once again gives a bold answer that carbs will affect the human body to a hundredfold. If you’re stopping the intake of carbs, junk foods, alcohol, and medication you will notice nails growing when you’re in the early 70’s. That means, your body will flush out all the toxins and produce new cells every time to rejuvenate your body.
